Abstract:
Dark photon portal is the simplest way for dark sector to communicate with the Standard Model sector. However, current searches for dark photon impose stringent constraints on the mixing parameter for various dark photon masses. In this talk, I will talk about a case where a light particle, axion-like particle (ALP), that lives in the dark sector and couples to dark photon and SM photon. Through this interaction, dark photon may decay into a photon and an ALP when this channel is kinetically allowed. As a result, the experimental constraints on dark photon change significantly. I will also present a collider study for this interaction at future lepton colliders, focusing on mono-photon events with missing energy signature.
