From Taipei Songshan Airport to HSR Hsinchu Station
Step 1

The most convenient way from Taipei Songshan Airport is to take the Taipei Metro to Taipei Main Station, then transfer to the High-Speed Rail (HSR).

🚇 From Songshan Airport Station (BR13), take the Wenhu Line (Brown Line) toward Taipei Zoo and get off at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station (BR10/BL15). Transfer to the Bannan Line (Blue Line) toward Dingpu and get off at Taipei Main Station (BL12). The metro ride takes about 15–20 minutes.

After exiting the metro, follow the signs to the HSR ticket counters, purchase a ticket, and take the HSR from Taipei Station to Hsinchu Station.

Step 2

Purchase a single journey ticket heading to "THSR Hsinchu Station".

From Taoyuan International Airport to HSR Hsinchu Station
Step 1

The fastest and most convenient way from Taoyuan International Airport to the HSR station is by taking the Taoyuan Airport MRT.

🚇 From Terminal 1 Station (A12) or Terminal 2 Station (A13), take the Airport MRT to HSR Taoyuan Station (A18). The ride takes about 16–19 minutes. At HSR Taoyuan Station, transfer to the High-Speed Rail and take a train to HSR Hsinchu Station.

From Taipei Main Station (Taipei Bus Station) to NTHU

After taking a train from Taipei to Hsinchu Railway Station, exit from the Front Station (Main Exit). Walk along the small alley beside SOGO Department Store to reach the bus stop. From there, you can take Bus No. 1, No. 2, or No. 9003 to National Tsing Hua University.

🚌 From the front exit of Hsinchu Railway Station, walk along the small alley between SOGO Department Store and Kingstone Bookstore. Take Bus No. 1 or No. 2 at the bus stop. The ride takes about 15–20 minutes, and you can get off at the NTHU Main Gate stop.

Hsinchu Bus No. 9003

🚌 You can also take Bus No. 9003 at the Hsinchu Bus Terminal, located across from SOGO Department Store. Get off at the NTHU stop.

Taxi

🚕 Taking a taxi from Hsinchu Railway Station to NTHU takes about 10 minutes and costs around NT$200. It's recommended to confirm the fare in advance or call for a taxi service.

Long-Distance Bus

🚍 If you are departing from Taipei Bus Station, you may take Hsinchu Bus No. 9003 or Kuo-Kuang Bus No. 1822, both of which stop directly at the NTHU Station.
